Move IRQ jumpers
1) Locate the jumpers on the board.
NOTE: Refer to the diagram in the computer or board manual if necessary.
2) Look at the base of the pins on the board for labels identifying each of the pins (e.g., J1, J2, etc.).
3) Determine the current jumper pin setting on the board.
4) Refer to the computer or board manual to determine the required jumper setting for the new situation.
NOTE: If the manual is unavailable, contact the manufacturer for technical support, or try identifying the correct setting through trial and error.
5) To move a jumper, grasp it with tweezers or needle-nose pliers and slide it off gently.
6) Carefully align it and slide it down onto the new jumper setting pins.
NOTE: Even if the manual says to remove the jumper, DO NOT REMOVE IT COMPLETELY. Simply hang it on a single pin so it will be available for future use.
7) If the mainboard jumper has wires attached, move it in the same fashion.
NOTE: The red wire always attaches to pin 1.
